Pashli makes a difference to the lives of many disadvantaged children and orphans in Belarus.
Some of the ways in which we try to improve the lives of the children are:
Taking a group of thirty orphans to Ireland each year for a two-week treat filled holiday, PLUS the opportunity for them to be part of loving, caring families. For many orphans this is a life-changing fortnight not only due to experiencing love and family life, but the time away from orphanage life.
Providing a Christmas/New Year fun-filled activity holiday in a world-class camp with indoor and outdoor sports, classes in life skills, circus visit, gifts at Russian Christmas and much more.
When we send out work-teams to work in the orphanage/school, the interaction that takes place between the volunteers and the children is a major feature of the work camps.
Leisure times are shared playing football etc, and the children get to see what a highly motivated and well-resourced workforce can achieve. The school authorities regard this as valuable experience for the children.
Vital fund raising in Ireland.
